I pushed off the idea of getting walking sticks for a while now because I thought they were useless and all for show. After using my wife's walking sticks from this company, I just had to order my own pair. It feels like having an extra pair of legs on my walks and hikes around my favorite trails. I use these poles on every hike now. It took a little bit to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, the support and balance I get are amazing.

These walking sticks are versatile. There's been an increase in coyote activity in my neighborhood near the mountains, and I used these sticks to scare away a few coyotes while walking my dog. I took off the rubber tips just in case I have to use these sticks as a self-defense weapon against those darn coyotes. The tips are made of some metal that would really help if anything happened to my dog. I can see why there are rubber tips. The rubber tips are also easy to take on and off.

I've tested these babies for the last 3 months now. I've hiked on trails that were rocky, sandy, and even tested these with the rubber tips on the regular pavement. They stood up to all the tests.
